日本の写真史に大きな足跡を残した写真家・木村伊兵衛(1901-1974)。
2021年は木村の生誕から120年にあたります。
その節目を記念して刊行した本書は、文芸諸家のポートレート、東京下町の日常の場面を素早く切り取ったスナップショット、晩年の傑作「秋田の農村」をテーマとしたシリーズなどで構成。
